AIDS Healthcare Foundation

AHF is a Los Angeles-based 501 non-profit organization providing medicine and healthcare to individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

As CREATIVE DESIGNER, I was able to work on a plethora of different types of projects and media including billboards and signage, social media posts, website design, and various print and digital creative material.

WORLD AIDS DAY 2021

Since 1988, WORLD AIDS DAY is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection and mourning those who have died of the disease. Every year, AHF helps celebrate the lives affected and help raise awareness by throwing a huge concert with A-List performers and guests.

This year, WAD 2021 was hosted at Los Angeles’ own Forum Arena by Randy Rainbow, with musical guests Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson, and a special performance from the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. I co-led this year’s design campaign and had my work featured in all promotional items, signage, and across all social media.

During my time with AHF, I was able to work on and with a numerous amount of campaigns for their many business lines including AIDS Healthcare Foundation, AHF Pharmacy, AHF Public Health Division, Out of Closet, and more. Every campaign would become national signage as well as spread digitally, with billboards, bench and bus ads, digital ads and various sizes in between for all platforms.

Each and every wellness center owned and managed by AHF has custom artwork designated to each location, showcasing the vibes and landmarks of the surrounding area. I was tasked with coming up with new and creative ways to express the uniqueness of each city in the artwork.

The design is showcased in every wellness center and throughout their promotional items.

AHF PHARMACY REBRANDING

AHF PHARMACY’s look had remained unchanged for a decade and was in need of refreshment. I was assigned to breathe new life into the business line so I created a whole new look for it - something familiar with a modern fresh take and twist. The design spanned across booklets, printables, flags, TV screens, websites, emails and more.

In 2020, CA PROP 21 planned to expand the Local Governments’ Authority to Enact Rent Control on Residential Property. I was the lead designer for the official social media campaign.
